Here's the highlight of the events that was held at Taman MetropolitanBatu, Jalan Ipoh,KL.

Waiting for Shidi at the petrol station Jalan Ipoh since i dunt know where the place is...

6.30am - Arrived at the Park, it is a nice place with a jogging trek in a guarded place..the run is actually beside of the gated park...

7.00am - Did some stretching and warm-ups while enjoying the view... and here are the runners :)
and our team...

1st runner: Abdul Rahim Mohd Noor (my dad) - Since he is the ole timer in our group...(sorry dad)...off he went with other runners at 7.30am...take it as easy as he can since it was his first time in relay run..recorded approx. 22min 50 sec (based on my stopwatch).

slow n' steady...

and next...its my turn :)

2nd runner: Rohaimy - received the baton and pia kaw kaw lat...only managed to overtook just one runner but not in the same category...after 2km,did not see anyone in our category...i was thinking maybe we are the last runner in the category...i was so damn tired..trying to push to the finishing line at a time of 22min 20sec...just a few sec shave off from my dad..damn!!...need to improve my pacing and speed!!

3rd runner: Rashidi - based on previous runs, Shidi has been consistently ahead of me i.e der pacemakers new year run n Malakoff 12km..told me that he was not on his best condition but managed to overtook a couple of runners...

and finished at a time of 22min 55 sec...
and our total time: 1hr 08.05

Overall, it was good attempt considering it as our first relay run....

and the prize giving ceremony...

...the finishing medal...19th!!??
